Equine Veterinarians Australia is a special interest group of the Australian Veterinary Association. EVA is the largest professional group in Australia dedicated to equine veterinary medicine. We have over 1,000 veterinarians and student members, from veterinary practices, government and universities, who have a common purpose in raising the standard of horse health and welfare.

EVA is committed to providing leadership and expert scientific advice in equine veterinary medicine for the benefit of the equine industry and its members.

EVA aims to promote the skills and value of the equine veterinary profession to government, industry and the general public and to set standards of professional excellence.

EVA membership provides veterinarians with the support and resources of a professional association committed to elevating standards of professional care to enhance the health and welfare of horses and representation and advocacy which aims to raise the profile and reputation of its membership.
